30 years of connecting people. We are proud to be marking this milestone with strong financial growth of 20% and expansion into new markets, including cellular backhaul, multiservice and High Throughput Satellites (HTS).

We are also pleased to bring our solutions for these new markets, and those in which we are already successfully established, like DTH, broadcast systems and consumer and enterprise, to two of our industry’s important show: CABSAT and SATELLITE.

Talking about new markets linked to HTS, join us at these related speaking slots:

Talking about mobility and cellular backhaul in particular:

Discover Newtec Dialog®

The Newtec Dialog multiservice platform, with our Mx-DMA™, is just one of the solutions we will demo at our booth at CABSAT and SATELLITE. Newtec Dialog embraces flexibility, efficiency and scalability, allowing operators to build and adapt their business as the market changes by enabling multiple services over a single all IP-based platforms.

It runs using an optimal modulation and bandwidth allocation, and is equipped with our patented return link technology, Mx-DMA, including HighResCoding (HRC™). This combines MF-TDMA flexibility and on-demand variable bandwidth allocation at SCPC efficiencies, solving the difficult choice operators previously faced of choosing between one and the other.

Feel free to attend the debate on this:

Consequent of this dilemma, satellite operators, providers and broadcasters can choose their technology without worrying about the constant evolution that marks the satellite market. A private tour of these key innovations with our product specialists will be available at this year’s shows.

The Latest in Broadcasting Technology

Also on our list of innovative developments is the newly released MDM6100 Broadcast Satellite Modulator V2.6 that supports the DVB-S2 and DVB-S2X standards, as well as DVB-S and DVB-DSNG.

More than just a modulator, the M6100 takes a vital role in broadcasters’ networks, providing the best performance on the market and helping them to evolve their business through ongoing market and technology innovations, including the next step in broadcast, 4K UHD. The modem incorporates Newtec’s own technologies which are compatible with the DVB-S2 standard to achieve barrier-breaking efficiency, including Equalink® and Clean Channel Technology®. Equalink is a linear and non-linear pre-distortion technology that allows broadcasters to either save money on space capacity reduce their programming costs or increase service availability.

Meanwhile, Clean Channel Technology, a combination of improved roll-offs for DVB-S2 and advanced filtering technologies, allows optimal bandwidth utilization. This results in even higher efficiency and a significant improvement in performance without changing any system parameters or set-top boxes, making it possible to upgrade some SD programs to HD or add content.

All of our products are fully upgradeable to the new standard DVB-S2X via a simple software upgrade (no hardware required) and we look forward to demonstrating the efficiency gains that this new transmission standard achieves.

There are 3 sessions to join here dealing with 4K UHD, DVB-S2X and a special Latin focus:

What Else?

Our solutions for government & defense applications; cellular backhaul & trunking; consumer and enterprise VSAT; and mobility, offshore and maritime market, will also be showcased at our booths. Various HTS systems and applications, which deliver new/optimized business models to provide HTS services to end-users, will also be available, along with cellular backhaul solutions to help mobile operators bridge the digital divide in rural areas.
