New Company Newsletter April 2013

Newsletter Sunday 17 March 2013

Dear Business Partner,

Welcome to a special edition of  our Newtec newsWe are in the midst of exciting times here at Newtec as we announce new projects, partners, products and help to lead the industry into a new era of faster, even more efficient standardized satellite communications.

Setting the Standard

For an update on S2 Extensions I would recommend jumping straight onto page four where Koen Willems discusses the findings of our extensive industry survey on what’s next for the DVB update. Did you know that of the 700 individuals we asked from across the sector more than half thought they would implement the extensions within the first year after release?

Also in this edition, get the inside track on strategies for introducing DVB-S2 Extensions, HEVC and UHDTV from Simon Pryor.

Interfering with Interference

If resolving Interference is high on your list of priorities then I would recommend skipping straight through to page 15. Thomas Van Den Driessche (Newtec) and Martyn Coleman (IRG) explain why the hunt is now on to identify the sources.

Awards, Products and New Projects

Of course, throughout our newsletter you’ll also get to hear from Kerstin Roost all of our new projects from new enterprise VSAT connectivity from California to Russia, Backhauling in Somalia and election support in Burkina Faso. We’re also supplying Europe’s most successful satellite broadband network with our latest Ka-band hubs and modems.

Turn straight to the back page to find out all about our latest product launches.
And you’ll also find news of our latest two award wins including WTA Teleport Technology of the Year 2013.

It really is a bumper edition! Enjoy reading: Go to the ON LINE VERSION
