Function description

As an Industrialisation Engineer you will create and manage the product industrialisation and the related documentation for the production departments based on the engineering data.

 In this challenging role, you will:

• Give support to the production, engineering, procurement and sales departments
• Contribute to and review the design in terms of industrialisation/production/certification
• Manage production issues in cooperation with other departments
• Manage the Engineering Change Note process
• Manage the certification activities of the Newtec products (UL; CE;EMC,...)
• Create and manage the documentation for the production with CAD/CAM tools. e.g. Mentor graphics & Solid Work
  • Bill of Materials
  • Order information for purchasing
  • Generic work instructions
• Create & maintain materials using the SAP-ERP tool
• Support the Project Managers with material issues (custom made).

Profile:

Educational background:
You have a Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering (Electronics or Telecommunication).

Experience:

At least 3 to 5  years of relevant experience in industrialization or production engineering environment is required.
Experience with managing certification activities (UL; CE; EMC, …) and/or rack lay outing/industrialisation is an asset.

Languages:
Dutch & English

IT knowledge:

• ERP knowledge, SAP knowledge is an additional asset
• Knowledge of Mentor Graphics (Dx designer, Expedition) is an additional asset
• Knowledge of Solid works is an additional asset
• MS-Office and/or Open-office

Competences & skills:

• Good knowledge of production processes in electronic assembly
• Knowledge of industry standards and certification
• RF / telecommunication knowledge is an additional asset
