Function description:

As a Sales Support Engineer you will create and manage the quality of the pre-sales technical design and offer generation..

In this challenging role, you will:

• Provide technical system support to the international Sales Team for Newtec's Professional Equipment & Systems product portfolio.
• Create special system demonstrations for prospects (along with the Account Manager) and prepare RFP/RFI responses
• Generate technical statements of work for custom projects
• Support the sales Administration Team for matching customer requirements with the product capabilities
• Bring strategic and senior level product presentations
• Follow up on accounts for functional/technical issues related to the sales cycle and guarantee a successful customer experience
• Interface with the Product Management department to provide product and market feedback

We are recruiting for this job

A punctual, flexible and open minded teamplayer eager to learn about our hi-tech products and acquire new technical skills. You hold a Master degree in Engineering (industrial/civil engineer in telecoms) with at least 3 years of relevant experience in pre- or post sales support for medium / large accounts. You possess hands-on IP and/or RF skills combined with a profound customer focused attitude and a commercial flair.

You are an independent, open & pragmatic individual and have experience with hi-tech products preferably in the satellite communications market. You are able to perform well under stress whilst maintaining good time and priority management. You have an entrepreneurial attitude with a 'can do' mentality. You are fluent in English, Dutch and French.
