Function description:

As a Senior Software Developer with excellent object oriented skills you will be working in the MENOS (Multimedia Exchange Over Satellite) Business Line team on the implementation and testing of software modules/ components required to develop the different aspects of the MENOS system.

In this challenging role, you will:

• take ownership of component derived from a high level architecture and/or requirement definition from the Product Manager and deliver a complete implementation
• develop coding in line with the established standard and coding style
• produce and execute a unit-test plan and an integration test plan for own coding used
• debug problems and resolve root causes
• participate in various design reviews
• participate in code reviews for other team members
• deliver document code, solutions and test cases
• take part in the design and development of new requirements of the SatIP transport subsystem
• perform troubleshooting and maintenance of the existing SatIP transport subsystem
• be involved in the design and development of the new requirements for the MMX user plane

You hold a Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering (Computer Sciences or Telecommunication) with 5 years of relevant experience. You have the ability to prioritise and to accomplish multiple tasks.

You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and are able to perform well under stress, whilst maintaining good time and priority management. You have an entrepreneurial attitude with a 'can do' mentality. You are fluent in English and Dutch and willing to do any occasional travel.

Competences & skills:

• Excellent knowledge of C/C++ programming languages
• IT knowledge: Linux, Windows
• Design experience
• Unit testing and regression testing experience
• Experience in.Net environment is a plus
