Function description:

As a test engineer you will design and execute tests and create reports on the validation and regression tests in the satellite communication domain.

Your key tasks will be:

• test-case design, execution and reporting of the validation and regression testing
• design, development and maintenance of the test environments (test platforms, test-ware, …)
• contribution to ‘design for test’ during product definition and design
• test automation

You have an entrepreneurial attitude with a ‘can do’ mentality. You are fluent in English and Dutch. You are a extravert, a good communicator and a good listener.

• you hold a Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering (Computer Sciences, Telecommunication or Electronics)
• a few years of relevant experience in validation testing in a Telecom or IP Networking system environment is an additional asset
• IT knowledge: IP networking, Linux, MS Office, OpenOffice
• Programming: Perl, Bash. Knowledge of VEE, Visual Basic and Selenium are additional assets.
• you have testing and troubleshooting skills
• ISTQB or similar trainings are an additional asset
• you have RF / telecommunication knowledge
• you know test management tools like Quality Centre or Test Director
