Data Converters are generic products that can be used in any satcom application. The main objective is to adapt one communication interface to another one in order to assure the transport of the information independently of the transport layer.
These products are mostly used for terrestrial applications where video signals have to be transported by radio waves systems.
Products including processing functions such as scrambling, rate adapter and concentrator/deconcentrator are also included within this line of products.
As these processing functions are performed before the modulation or after the demodulation, these products are aimed at Newtec Modulator and Demodulator customers.
