About the M6100
The Newtec M6100 Broadcast Satellite Modulator features Newtec’s Equalink® 3, a revolutionary linear and non-linear pre-distortion technology which provides breakthrough performance gains on DTH satellite links up to 15% and roll-off factors up to 5%. In addition, Equalink 3 significantly simplifies operations for both DVB-S and DVB-S2 modulation schemes by automation of its calibration process, which is otherwise a very time consuming manual process. By providing this extra satellite capacity gain, the Newtec modulators also give significant return on investment, covering the cost of investment within a short period. The modulator’s robust design results in the highest system reliability and service uptime, while the latest transmission standard, DVB-S2X, is available as a software upgrade.
